wind turbine is the apparatus that has large blades that rotate when in the wind. This is mechanically connected to an electrical generator of some sort that produces electricity. Wind turbine can mean the part with the blades, or both parts plus the structure that holds the blades.
Wind generator is a fan, something that makes wind, just as electrical generator makes electricity or gas generator makes gas or steam generator makes steam.
