Whats the average wind speed in my town? i want to build a turbine?

I live in Cypress Texas. The average wind speed in Houston is about 8mph.(Houston is like 5 miles away from cypress) The wind turbine would be mounted on my chimney so probably about 40- 50 feet in the air. I would like someone to help estimate the average wind speed year round in cypress, Tx about 45 feet in the air. First reasonable guess gets BA! Thanks

a simple 1.2 KW wind setup will cost u no less than 5000 USD
that cant even run a single AC fro you ..just a few lights and fans
calculate ur power bill and see how many years u will need to cover those 5000 bucks
it aint worth it yet !
