what papers do i need to show at the airport if am a green card holder planning to visit canada?
do i need anything else other than my green card and home country passport? i dont have a US passport.thank you

Hmm… I would think your US resident card and country passport is enough. You can’t get a US passport until you become a citizen anyway. If in doubt, I would recommend contacting the Canadian Embassy just to make sure
proof that you will go back to USA.

CCC is WRONG. Visitor visa is NOT required.

Go to http://www.travel.state.gov to see the rules for your nation of origin. Also go to http://www.cic.gc.ca the govt of Canada immigration and visa site to see if you need a visa as they do require more than just a green card for to enter canada depending on your nation of origin.
