This question is a rarity. It is a case where someone who is not an AGW "tinfoil-hatter" has brought up the subject of Al Gore.
Now that Gore’s name has been mentioned, watch the craziness ensue.
You know, carbon diokside doesn’t create any greenhouse effect, because there IS no greenhouse effect!
If you want a documented crooked religious freak handling the money from a professional con game then Big Al and the ponce scheme called cap and trade fit very well. This will make working people poor and crooks rich which is what the Democratic party is all about since it was originally invented by Ceaser.

Do you mean the Al Gore who has one of the biggest carbon footprints of any person in the world. The Al Gore who spends more on utilities than most Americans earn. Lear Jet Al? 100′ yacht Al?
Green is for money Al who’s personal wealth has gone from $2M to $100M on the prospect of obtaining government funding and favourable legislation for green companies he has an interest in.
Honest Al, who waves his hands infront of a picture of Micheal Mann’s Hockey Stick and tries to pretend it comes from ice core data and also can’t decide whether he’s pro tobacco or anti tobacco.

I think if he really wants it past he shouldnt have al gore because quite frankly, a lot of people think he’s dumb (including me). I dont mean to discredit what he has to say, i agree with global warming and everything i just think they should have a person who actually does scientific research or something not a politician that everyone hates. Al Gore is the posterboy for global warming critics and on top of that, i’m fairly certain he doesnt even support cap and trade(if i read last week’s TIME correctly.)
The only person who can compete with Obama for "useless moron of the century" is Al Gore.
Al Gore should debate Lord Christopher Monckton on Global warming,Cap and trade and the like,but he will NOT.Because he will LOSE!!!!!!!!!!And it is NOT Obama,it is Axelrod,Ayers,Emanuel,,Soros and that crew that run the agenda,in my humble opinion…

The average taxes paid across the nation right now is 40+%.That means that when you get your degree and get a job,if you can,you will pay $40 on every one hundred.ADD ON the VAT,Cap and trade and the Health Bill,the rises in food and energy costs from same, and various environmental and conservation crap you will be BROKE!!!!!!!!BROKE!!!!!!!BROKE!!!!
How else than craziness be when Al Gore is so crazy himself? Al Gore may think he is telling the truth about global warming, but I doubt it. If he believes in it so much why is he one of the worst in polluting the planet? Ask yourself that question. He flies all over the world, in his private jet, has 2 homes that he maintains, and he is still eating meat. Plus, this global warming thing has made him millions of dollars.
So why aren’t the Democrats who hate the top 1% of the wealthy and want to spread the wealth start with him?
On top of all that he was a idiot when he was vice president and he is even worse now. Geeh!
God has already put a recycling of CO2 . Photosynthesis Recycles the CO2 and give us back O2 but the plants keep the C for fossil fuel.The air that U just breathed has been recycled millions of time. Even when U breath ,U exhale CO2.

$1700 and 24000 per year. But you do know that they are always (always!!!!!!!!!!) (always!!!!!!!!!!!)
deceptive on what it is really going to cost you. And when it turns out to be way over what on what they sold you on….well, then they will find someone else to rob to help you pay for what you cant afford–yep and then you will probably vote them back in……..and so the world turns

Al Gore was on C-span 2 yesterday spreading lies. He said the North Pole will melt
and it will not reflect sunlight. It melted in 1959 and the world did not heat up.
Besides He forgot that Water reflects light. He is Scared of Nuclear power.

You have a few details wrong though. Most of the savings from the cap and trade system will come from things like increased energy efficiency. Although energy will cost a bit more, we’ll use less of it. Some people will even same money because of this.
Also, economic analyses have shown the cap and trade bill will only cost the average American family around $100 per year, not $1000. See Myth #11 here:

Although energy will cost substantially more, we’ll use less of it. Some people will even save money because they can’t afford it altogether.
