Roach infestation A GL HOMES COMMUNITY?
I live in a very nice GL HOMES community in west Boynton Beach, Fl. There is a roach infestation allover the green areas, we don’t know what to do. Did the builder treat the soil?? I’m trapped in my house I step outside and there are roaches on the walls, cars, windows everywhere, we have a pest control service, and I spray 1 a week on my own, all of my neighbors have the same problem. I am terrified by roaches and it is affecting my daily life and I can’t enjoy my newhome. I tried to file a complaint with Palm Beach county but i’m not sure how>>> Please help!

When we lived in eastern Kansas we were told to use the Fruit of the "osage orange tree". It’s supposed to be a native of that area. And you put it whole all around the basement and the outside of the house. This seemed to keep the ants and roach etc. away. So if anyone out there in the Junction city Manhattan area reading this chime in.
Now a personnely proven method is to use powdered boric acid.
You put out bait stations, in that a very shallow tray is filled with the powdered boric acid and in the center is the food source. The roachs can not taste, sense etc. the poision. And crawl thru it get a bite or two and go back home. Where they clean themselves with they’re mouth and with that action the B/A enters theyre body, The bactria in the gut have no defence against B/A and it kills off the bactria. There in they starve to death. At that time the other roachs eat said dead roach and the same happens again.
Please remember to cover or place the bait stations so animal/ birbs don’t get in it. Boric Acid is largely non toxic to higher life forms but there are those creatures that may get very sick from it.
Also using the same type trays instead of B/A try "rotenone" or neem tree products. Good luck as this will be a on going effort.
Most pest control people do not want to hear that you have used or are using Boric acid or any thing they do’nt prescribe as your efforts will only cause more problems. RIGHT!
This is a lot cheaper and safer for you and yours if done with some care.
If they are american roaches or palimeto bugs as they call them down south they love a product called Maxforce fine granules which is a bait, if you get it just follow the label instructions.
