That depends on what you define as "best". Solar and wind are good for the environment and they pretty much provide free energy once they’re built. Coal has the advantage that it’s cheaper and that it can provide dependable energy. Wind and solar only work at certain times, so a power grid based on them isn’t going to be reliable.
Coal definitely has the most energy for electricity, it’s just not environmentally friendly.
One version of solar energy is VERY promising… SOLAR THERMAL! That is where a huge tower is built - and then surrounded by mirrors that reflect sunlight to turn the liquid in the tower (usually water) into steam to run a turbine. Unlike filthy coal (which we need to get away from), Solar Thermal is 100% Clean!!! and very inexpensive to operate (mirrors are very cheap!) - We’re building some here in the southwest… and they have many in Spain… you can check out more at my site: http://hiddenbuzz.com/solar-thermal-powerplants-the-low-cost-alternative-energy
Solar and wind are "free" and do not pollute, hence they are best.
For private households, definitely solar panels-they fit on a roof and are efficient enough to power a home with energy to spare. Problem is, overall theyre very inefficient for powering many buildings, so wind power would be the best for that.
coal is the most avalable, but harms the enviorment the most. coal not only produces geenhouse gases(which traps heat in the atmosphere) but we have a limited supply. coal is also the thing we can produce the most from. solar is the secon most. we cannot depend on this or wind entiraly because we cannot predict (prefectly) or control the weather.
Coal is the easiest and quickest way to produce energy. to use solar energy or wind energy it would take much longer to create the same amount of energy.
Coal is also more predictable- you don’t always know when it is going to be sunny or windy but you can burn coal whenever you want!
The other two methods are better for the environment though!
good luck
I’d say coal but it isn’t the cleanest.
