My family and I own 32 Acres in a prime area, I would like to Develop a Green Certified Leed Apartment Units?
Should i find a Local Leed Accredited Builder, contractor, or Developer? I own the Land outright it was paid for in full when we purchased the 32 Acres. I am 23 and passionate to make a difference, to bring something creative and conscious to the area. I would love any advice, I bank with Bank of America and the Land is in an up and coming area in South Carolina….With your input & advice i could be really prepared……Thanks so much……

This is not a small undertaking and you’ll be much better off getting in touch with a reputable developer and a real estate attorney.
If I was in your place, I wouldn’t do it "on the input and advice of online ‘experts’ here."
I’m not sure about some of the terms you speak of in the state of pa we have something called lean and green which prevents development of land for beauty purposes if that’s what your talking about i know here the land is not taxed but if taken off of the program all of the back taxes must be payed because it then becomes a lean. you also have to take in consideration zoning laws as well as what the city/county will actually let you do.
