My CRT TV has major color issues – related interference maybe?
I bought a brand new condo and own a CRT TV. It color shifts from looking normal to looking like it needs to be degaused (green/violet). There’s no rhyme or reason to how long it stays in each color mode. I’ve had Best Buy out (extended warranty) and they’ve replaced the TV’s board twice. In talking to some of the neighbors, they have the same problem, so there’s definitely something screwed up in the area, and it’s not just limited to my TV. One person even suggested that it has something to do with the electrical in the building. If that’s the case, I may have some recourse against the builder. I have a LCD monitor on my computer, and it works perfect, so whatever the problem is, it only affects CRT type screens.
Please help – I’d love to have normal TV again, and I could be a hero to my neighbors.

If it is electrical I would say either there is Under voltage, or over voltage, this would not affect your LCD in the same way as a CRT. Also magnets cause mis color on CRT’s. If under voltage happens on a LCD the back light might get dim, but it would be barely visible.
