Medical experts plz ans: I am a vegetarian but I need omega fatty acids in my diet?
1.My family is not strict vegetarians but I am the only person in the family to follow vegetarianism.
2.My dad says you be veg., but eat fish b’coz omega fatty acids(which is found only in fishes for brain development) he argues me to eat fish but I need a vegetable replacement , can anyone suggest me a vegetable supplement ???
3.I am at a very young age and eat all green leaves, protein supplement, all fruits, vegetables, all cereals , maizes which comes alternatively in my diet. I don’t leave any vegetables.
My question is that I want to be a body builder and can a vegetarian become a body builder???
* Will it affect my future life and strength b’coz I am a male but I don’t want to eat non-veg
I don’t eat even eggs…

I admire your dedication but I tell you what. If you are going to commit yourself to such a vegetarian diet, then your dad is right, you should be the one learning everything about it because you will have to be making your own choices and they must be healthy ones. The life style of a body builder is very demanding too. Why don’t you use the internet to research all the sources of Omega fatty acids instead of me or someone else just providing it for you. In your research, you might just discover some great vegetarian sites or body building sites too.
