I am a green card holder. But my passport was revoked by my home country. Is it legal to stay in usa?
Last month I got my USA green card. But this week, my passport was revoked by my home country. Is it legal to stay in the USA with a green card, but with a revoked home country passport?

You may stay here forever with just a green card, and the green card is all you will need to reenter the U.S. from abroad.
If your own country will not issue you a passport, a U.S. Reentry Permit will serve the same purpose as it is a travel document.
However, you have not stated why your country revoked your passport. Once you travel there, you are subject to their laws. A U.S. Reentry Permit will not guarantee you admission there, nor will it protect you. It sounds like you may need to stay away from there, anyway, if they do not recognize you as one of their own.
Are you from Sri Lanka, by chance?
No problem here, but you cannot travel outside the US as you cannot get a US passport until you become a citizen.
If your embassy will issue you a new passport, that would be great. Alternatively, you might try the UNHCR.
I should think so. It was our decision, not your other country’s. You should speak to an immigration attorney, though, because that could cause you problems.
yes, you can stay your passport from your home country is irrelevent in your legal ability to stay in the US, in fact many people illegally here hold a passport and it gives them no rights here it just proves where they are from. Question though, why was your passport revoked? Was it because you legalized your status here?
You are a legal resident, of course it’s legal to stay. You might have trouble travelling outside of the USA (or back to your country), however. There is a temporary travel document that you can get from the INS/DHS. If you need to travel outside, you should apply for the temporary travel document about 3 months ahead (earlier the better). Also called a re-entry permit. Check out the link below.
Sounds like the only thing that is not legal is for you to cross any international border.
