I prefer intel quad core. If possible I would go with an intel I7 chip but that would cost more though and I see you don’t want to spend anymore. The intel quad cores for the same price as your Phenom out preform it.
Not bad considering the budget, but for overclocking you would actually be just as well with a core 2 duo. In the long term, you might end up upgrading the processor in a few years, if your a hardcore gamer anyway.
But this should play most games on the market now.
actually if you are lucky you’ll be able to unlock the fourth core in the phenom x3. definitely no guarantee though
CPU is pretty crappy. Should go for a true quad-core. Overclocking this thing isn’t going to give you that great performance.
A Caviar Green hard drive is much slower than a blue or black. You should go with a Caviar Black… it’s only like $5-10 more.
Overall, it’s not bad, but it could be better.
