I am sorry but Lil Jay Chou is not entirely correct.
It is true that colder air is denser but it doesn’t affect the actual air pressure that is constantly moving to even out thus creating wind.
The air pressure depends on if the air sinks (high pressure) or rises (low pressure). the latter happens when e.g. the air near the ground is heated by the sun and warms up.
Warm air can contain more water moisture. When it rises, it cools down and condenses as clouds then precipitations.
The actual energy that drives the weather isn’t so much the temperature but the difference of temperature.
For example, you have certainly noticed that, in temperate regions, the winter sees more storms than the summer.
That is because during the winter, the pole that is then in a constant night is much colder than the equator that remains pretty much at the same temperature all year round.
During the winter, the front between those two air masses is greater as the difference of temperature is greater. More energy is then used to create deeper low pressure, resulting in more wind and rain.
