How can I remodel my room on a low budget?
My colors are baby blue and lime green. I am on a low budget. The room is about medium size, walk in closet. Some other info is that I am a young teen and also me and my family personally know a builder who can help us with some things. If you need more info, I will add it!

for a new look to the bed go to a thrift store and find a headboard. you can spray paint it or hand paint it to give it a new life and a great look. get your paint at walmart and get the cheap grade stuff, it works just a nicely. you can get cheap but nice bedding at ikea. or a ross store. they always have amazing prices. ross and ikea are also great places to find cheap accent pieces to personalize your room. you can change out a closet door with some fabric on a tension curtain rod to add a little more texture. a cheap way to add color to your walls is to get some fabric you like and make a wood frame. nail or staple the fabric to the back of the frame and hang it up.
If this is a bed room- You can get a new comforter and throw rug to match the colors you a re painting. Hang a beaded curtain in front of the walk in closet instead of using closet doors. Get a funky lamp and some throw pillows and you should be all set. You can find most of these things at Walmart or even thrift stores
Paint has the biggest bang for the buck. Sherwinn Williams stores have a free interior design service. Most of their designers are recent graduates which in most jobs is a downside….but in interior decorating it means they have the most recent training on whats hot…
As far as flooring goes, painting the floor or using an interlocking Pergo type flooring is pretty reasonable and possible for the DIY’er to do themselves.
