Can someone tell me what an oil company should be charging for a gallon. This is for heating the home.?

I received a letter from my oil company providing a new service contact at twenty-one cents higher then the gas prices around my home. I thought it was always slightly lower then the current gas prices. Please let me know what I should be paying for heating oil if the gas prices are currently .98 in my area. Thanks so much.

Do you have a service contract? The price of oil is typically higher than gas prices. But you might want to check with some other companies to see what their yearly contract prices are.
