My parents are very conscious of energy bills and even shut off the water heaters and only turn them on when taking a shower. Is this necessary? Most places I know keep them on 24/7 without a problem. How much energy are they really saving by doing this practice?

I lost the manual for the car and really need to change the air filter.
I bought the correct air filter at Auto Zone but I don’t know how to change it. I know a little about cars, but please be specific.

I know this might seem a tad odd, (considering that most people are looking to save money…) but I’m doing a research project and I need to know some energy efficient items costing either from the 0-,000 price ranger or higher. I’ve spent quite some time searching, but have come up blank. If you could refer me to a website, or just answer the question directly, I would really appreciate it.

I have a chilli bush at home- i have never used the green ones I’ve always waited for them to turn red. Can I use them green?

Well, my central air which I’ve had for about seven years just isn’t cooling my house anymore. By that I mean, air is flowing out of the registers well enough, but the air coming out feels like room temperature. It’s very hot in my house right now.

Do you have to buy some sort of chemical every few years? I’ve never done that and owned it for about seven years. Thanks in advance!

You know you’re having a bad year when you serve up back-to-back home runs to extreme slap hitters in Francisco Cervelli and Brett Gardner (who both seem to have a power surge lately), especially with pelting rain and wind blowing in from left field at 1:45 in the morning, to make the score 5-3 Yankees. It’s too bad, since Buck Showalter really wanted this game even after it had become an official game, looks like he got his wish lol. I guess he needs a tissue too.

They put in a new heating and cooling system where i live.Its gas.Ever since they put it in i’ve been having a lot of static in my clothes and in my hair.Yesterday i went to go outside and shocked myself on the doorknob.I saw a spark!! I ask one of my neighbors about it and she said hers was doing the same thing.(She got new one too.)What is causing this and how can you get rid of it?

This occurs when the air conditioner is running. I have cleaned around the compressor and coils. I can not find a trap to clean on the condensation (PVC) pipe.
