I’ve checked out a bunch of sites and some youtube videos. Mixcat.com on youtube has an awesome tutorial on building your own solar panels. There’s a lot of info on the web but I feel I’m missing some of the better material. I was hoping some of you DIYers who have actually made a solar panel could turn me on to a website, a book, a forum, a video, or anything that could really get me on my way to building my own solar panel and putting it to work for me. I have a surge protecter, but I live in the country and our power poles and lines are subject to damage from high winds, falling trees and drunken cowboys in pick-ups. So our power comes and goes a lot. I thought if the PC is turned off it would be safe if the power surged. Not so? Why is it bad to turn it off at night and back on the next day?

I was talking to someone about converting a propane heating system to natural gas. They said propane was the easiest fuel source to convert because as long as the pipes and distribution infrasctructure in the building is natural gas friendly, you may just need a different nozzle for using natural gas.

So by nozzle, do they mean a burner?
And if not, what function does the nozzle have?
Does anybody have a picture of a typical nozzle or a brand name I could research?
