Or black tea. Preferably green though. I’m just curious to see how it goes. I have a feeling that it’s somewhat complicated and challenging to obtain the plants or seeds, though… enlighten me?

Thanks in advance.

What is the average ROI for Wind Farms?

I was curious how profitable a wind farm may actually be in comparison to coal. What is the pay back period, maintenance costs, etc. Assume ideal wind conditions, 30 year life, and industrial size turbines. Also, what is the most efficient spacing? I read somewhere it’s 1km.

Thanks :-)

I have a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee, Overland and the heating system is putting out cold air from the right side vents. I have been told this repair will require the removal of the dash to access the unit that directs the air flow and will cost over ,000.00. The vents on the drivers side work perfectly. Is there any way to handle this problem less expensively?

I’ve seen a lot of guides on the net, speaking about how to make your own solar panels. My question is, do they really work?

Which alternative energy sources are not affected by the sun out of
Solar energy
Wind energy
Hydropower
Biomass
Hydrogen
Geothermal
?

I’m curious about the training involved, where to get the training, how much they make, the typical work day of a wind farm tech, also how to contact someone in the field whom I can ask more questions. Thanks for any help you can provide.

I took a look at the tag of the central air units I have at my house, and it indicated that they were to the far left of less efficient units of similar models.

home heating oil fuel lines?

i’ve seen some oil tanks have one line and others have two….on my furnace it has lines for 1&2….what is the difference between 1 &2 lines. is it better to run 1 or the 2 line method?

May be building a home soon. Live in the northern part of the U.S. What is the most energy efficient system to heat your home these days that is not outrageously expensive? Considering corn~wood pellet stove, gas forced air furnace. But would like to investigate more ideas. What ideas would you suggest?

I was just curious as to what everyone keeps their oil fired, forced air heat set on during the winter. It gets as low as 5 degrees F here at night, and as warm as 35-40ish during most days.

…. which is financially better for you to be using — the gas furnace or the heat pump — to heat your house?

My point is, the more often you use your heat pump, the quicker it will wear out and need replaced.

Any insights?

I guess I’m trying to gauge how many years a heat pump in regular use lasts compared to a gas furnace in regular use.

What would you do? our living situation?

Here is what is going on. Lots of pieces to this puzzle, so i’ll try not to make it too long!

We have been renting the house we are in right now for 2 years. It’s 3 bedrooms with the laundry room in one of the bedrooms, 1 bath, decent yard, 1 stall garage, in town. The past 3 months, this house has been on the market. The people we are renting from want to sell it. A couple times a month, they show the house. I personally am not comfortable being in a house that is on the market, because I don’t like the "what if’s". What if they sell it and we have no where to go?

We’ve found another house that we would be able to move into in a month (which is when our lease is up). Its for 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, acreage in the country for the same price as what we are paying now. I know utilities will be a bit more, but it is still in our budget. The people we are renting from, are VERY good friends with my parents, which is why we are even able to rent the house. They want someone in before winter and we have to let them know if we want it for sure in the next week or they will find someone else. We would be renting on a year lease at a time, with the ability to stay as long as we want.

My fiance (we are getting married October 16th of this year, yay!!) is getting a new job. He is in class right now to get his CDL (truck driving). He has been offered a job that he is planning on taking, with a salary of k. That is almost k more than what we are making now! Money for renting will NOT be a problem. From only this information, I want to move into this new house!

BUT here is the catch. We have found our DREAM HOUSE. Old country farm house, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 5 stall garage, 3.4 acres in the country, only 1 mile from his parents and a couple miles from mine. The view is amazing (over looking a hugeeee windmill farm.). I love everything about this house. It has been on the market for awhile. In fact, they took it off the market a couple weeks ago to switch realtors, and when I noticed it not online, I started bawling like a baby. Yes, I am emotionally attached to this house! We are looking into buying it possibly (9k house, but my dad thinks we could get them down a good k) , but won’t know for sure for over a month at least until he is fully settled into this new job.

So what do we do? Do we stay in the house we are in now, with the fact that it COULD be sold in the next couple months and we would have to search for another house to take us, but leaving open the option that we could buy this dream home sooner rather than later. Or do we start renting the new house, getting rid of the option to be kicked out of a house that is getting sold, but putting off buying the dream home for a year and having it possibly bought by someone else (and leaving me in tears again haha) I seriously don’t know what to do!

By the way, as a wedding present, grandma is giving us k as a downpayment on a home if we choose.
K: totally left out important information… The inside has been completely redone. All new windows also.
New siding and roof. Taxes are 00 a year.
We would definitely need someone to go in and look at it to see what it would need, and build up a bit more of savings (which we could definitely do if we rented for another year) to be able to fix stuff that will go broken eventually.
Ugh I know about flooding. This past week we’ve had a good 12 inches of rain in 2 days. EVERYTHING is flooded. Woke up to 2 feet of water in our basement. Roads being ruined and giving out or just basically flooded with feet of water. Hopefully the rain will stop for awhile to let everything dry out!

we have to replace our HVAC in our home

In all the times that I have been to the Philippines I have not seen any solar powered homes. This is confusing for me because I think that filipinos could greatly benefit from it.
