Very tiny and petite. 24 years old. 5 feet 2 inches tall. Rich, and wife-to-be/fiance. Kind, caring, very warm smile. Deep in love, has found her soul mate. Not very studious, but still quite intelligent.

Conrad Stockdale: Somewhat tall, very handsome. Also born in the eary 1900s in England. Honey-gold eyes and black hair. Somewhat muscular, but not as much as a body builder. About 6 feet tall. Normal to average level of smartness. In love with Abigale Katherine Cahillane. 27 years old.

Charles Livingston: Minor character. Butler of Abigale Katherine Cahillane and Conrad Stockdale. Very warm and kind. Balding, very chubby and extremely round. White hair. In his late 50s or early 60s. Charcoal black eyes.

Harlow Evangeline Blackwell: 15 years old. Skinny, average height. Born in early 1990′s. Daughter of Amelia and Carlton Blackwell. Very serious, rarely laughs. Loves with all her heart. Has been through a lot. Mother died when she was 4. High soprano voice. Very straight, shoulder-length red hair and warm, deep brown eyes. About 5 feet 6 inches tall. Smart and intelligent, but not studious. Also lives in England.

Amelia Blackwell: Deceased mother of only child, Harlow Evangeline Blackwell. Wife of Carlton Blackwell. Kind and caring. Silly and very young for her age. Died at age of 32. Suicidal (although I don’t know for what yet. Suggestions are very welcome!!) Jumped off of a cliff to meet her death. Nobody knew she was suffering, always putting on a smile to make others happy. Put those she loved before herself. Deep brown eyes, and warm smile. 5 foot 4 inches. Small and petite. Wavy blond hair.

Carlton Blackwell: Father of Harlow Evangeline Blackwell. Husband to deceased wife, Amelia Blackwell. Lives in England. Strict, loving, caring, does what he thinks is best for those he loves. Is misunderstood by Harlow Evangeline, and Harlow Evangeline is misunderstood by him. Very quiet. 5 feet 9 inches tall. Red hair. Somewhat muscular, not like a body builder. Blue eyes, like the ocean. Was very strong and very manly before Amelia died. He was serious, she was silly and young for her age. Took good care of Amelia and was devastated when she died, because she told him everything and he didn’t know about her suicidal nature. Harlow Evangeline knows this and blames him for her mother’s death. After Amelia’s death, he turned hard and cold, and was very strict, unable to show his feelings, afraid of being hurt again, although Harlow Evangeline hurts him on a daily basis, just by blaming him for her mother’s death. Cannot bring himself to hurt Harlow Evangeline Blackwell, so he takes it in silence.

Basically, I wanted to know if you liked these physical descriptions of my characters, and their personalities, if they fit with the names I gave them. Also, I do realize that there is A TON to read, but please, bear with me, I really need help with this.

If you read the whole thing, you may have noticed that I have decided that Amelia Blackwell was suicidal. She jumped off a cliff, due to very deep depression, very secret, and nobody knew about her suffering. However, I have not decided WHY she was suffering,and why she was suicidal.

So basically, I would like your opinions on the physical descriptions and personalities, and also suggestions for why Amelia Blackwell was suicidal.

I’m interested in studying environmental design, but I’m unsure about a major. I’m interested in Urban ecology, Industrial/urban/environmental development and design (large and small scale), and sustainable business. Any suggestions on programs/schools/majors that would make the best use of the progress the green building movement is making. Not only would I be interested in building from scratch, but really updating exisiting homes and businesses to be more environmentally mindfull. I really need to update the insulation to my basement. What is there has been there for almost 30 years. Can I tack up new insulation right over the old or would it be best to remove the old and just go with new. Also the old is R11 should I use the same or is there something better to use.

our vehicle sounds like a jet plane…really really loud wind type noise. sometimes it doesnt want to turn over and today while driving it stalled/died and we lost power steering. after that it took 3-4 times to try and get it to turn over…what could be causing all this and about how much would it cost to repair??

Besides my refrigerator, the only other electrical device I leave running all day is my computer (cpu, monitor, modem, speakers). So to reduce my hydro bill, what kind of solar panel would be sufficient to run my computer off the grid 24hrs a day?

So I checked out local prices for solar panels. Turns out it would cost me roughly 00 to have 1000watts of panels installed. With my current hydro bill, which I pay every other month, I would have to wait approximately 27 years before breaking even with the 00 purchase.

They sure don’t make it easy for us to save the planet..

I am still saving to buy a home, so I never paid for everything myself. I know that there are a lot of different factors involved such as where you live and such, but what are all of the "hidden" costs involved in owning a home in the US? For example, mandatory insurance, HOA, electric, water, taxes, etc. I basically want to know how much more money I need to factor in when buying a house. Thanks.

Now I know that many would say we should do it out of principle, but I’m only going to do it if it actually pays off. I’m all about taking care of the earth God gave us, but I have to be practical until I’ve got a few more bucks to play with.
SO… What is the most cost effective solar energy source for a single family home, and how long before I can expect it to pay for itself.

I also realize, of course, that there are a lot of variables in here, the biggest of which is the efficiency of the home itself. Efficiency upgrades are the first steps we are looking to take, but I am interested in PV technology as well.

When thermostat stuck closed, usually upper hose is cold, lower hose is hot. But my overheated car is the other way around: Its upper hose is hot and lower hose is cold. Why? Could you advise? Thanks
