I have a 2006 Montana Mountaineer 5th Wheel made by Keystone and need to know if there is a switch I can flip to change from propane to electric during the winter months at my house. I have the trailer hooked up to electric power at my house and keep spending more and more money each week to keep the heater running. Thanks for all your help and answers.

My daughter has one and the mixes you buy where you use whole milk are not very good. More like ice milk and not very flavorful. So she is looking for a recipe that will make ice cream that tastes more like the real stuff. Can you help?

In school we have a project in which we have to create an anti-pollution plan for our town. We have to come up with ideas on how to get less pollution and how much it will cost for the plan to be carried out. This also includes wages for the people making it happen(which is 8$ here).
So far I have:
10 Clean-up Crew to start at minimum wage for 3 hrs
Installation of more trash cans
Installation of more recycle bins
Installation of solar power to the whole town
Change public transportation to run off of vegetable oil
Install wind power to whole town
How much do you think that each thing would cost. Not just together, but for each thing. We are allowed to use the internet in any way we choose on this project, so help me out.

I have a Goodman furnace and White Rodgers thermostat with heat/off/cool settings. Supposedly when lowered to a certain temp. the heat blowing/cycling is supposed to stop, but no matter what temp. it just keeps going on and off. It does not stop operating below room temp. Is it dangerous to just turn the thermostat off when I don’t want heat?

I’m doing a very lengthy report on controversies involving alternative energy; however, I have no idea what to use as evidence against alternative energy. Any ideas or sites where I can find pros AND cons???
I found a few, but I really need a lot; aren’t there any sites?

One of my second story bedrooms is much colder than the others. This lead me to check the attic, to find that much of the blown insulation had collected in the middle section of that room, away from the edges near the soffits. Is this normal? We’ve had a lot of high winds lately. If so how should I keep it in place? I was thinking of getting some bat insulation and laying across on top of the blown insulation to prevent it from being easily moved (near the soffits)… is this a good idea?

Looking to build in the area of N. Florida that has power supplied by West Florida Electric and would like to install solar panels with an invertor to tie into the grid system. Anyone with info that has done this with West Florida or any other power co.in Florida would be helpful.

I am a father of 3 and tired of paying these outrageous energy bills monthly. We pay in the neighbourhood of 450 canadaian and its got to end! I have come to the conclusion I am going to invest in renewable energy solutions for my home. I want to FULLY remove my home from the energy grid.
I need to know exactly what I will need? I understand I need solar panels and batteries, or windgenerator and batteries but, what else? What past the batteries in the system will I need?

I was wondering because my strings have a really high tension on my acoustic but my electric doesn’t. Plus their are some points I need to bend the strings on my acoustic and my strings now. Any recommendation for strings that are easier to bend will be greatly appreciated. I just need to bend.

I was trying to figure out how solar panels work today and I found that electrons get displaced in 2 layers of a solar panel by photons coming from the sun to create power. If the electrons come from the solar panel and go into the electrical grid, how are they replaced in the solar panel? Wouldn’t the solar panel eventually lose all of its electrons and stop working? Electrons have mass, so wouldn’t the solar panel slowly deteriorate?
I think solar energy is awesome and I really want to know how it works. Any help in enlightening me on this subject would great, thanks!

If possible the size kw needed, thankyou!!
If known…what would be the dimensions of the wind turbine, and the amount of kW needed, thankyou!
