Im doing a research project for my school, and its for my economics class. We have to find ways to make our school more enviroment- friendly. Our group has decided to research wind and solar power. We have to find out how much it would cost, how much energy we would save, and so on. If it helps at all, i go to Ben Davis Highschool in Indianapolis, so its a pretty large school. So if anyone can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.

apparently it will take a couple of years to restore the infrastructure
and millions will be dead by then!
many environmentalists may really be hoping this actually happens!!!

i m planning to put a setup of wind mill generating electricity. i just want an idea that what are government formalities to be completed? according to you where would you suggest me to put up a setup. i.e particularly is there any such place where cost of setup would be cheap and returns would be higher? and what are the steps for such setup?

I’m doing a career research project on alternative energy researchers, and I need help finding information about a "critical issue," or disadvantage, of being in the career. Any ideas?

I’m looking at Condos right now one has a gas furnace and water tank, while the other 2 have an electric(forced air) furnace and an electric water heater.
Which is more expensive to run in terms of energy bills? Do Electric Furnaces last longer then gas? Are they cheaper to replace? Does an electric furnace use a heating element or what?(vs a gas using a flame)
The one I’m looking at still has an electric furnace from the mid 70′s. Should i be worried?

I live in Cypress Texas. The average wind speed in Houston is about 8mph.(Houston is like 5 miles away from cypress) The wind turbine would be mounted on my chimney so probably about 40- 50 feet in the air. I would like someone to help estimate the average wind speed year round in cypress, Tx about 45 feet in the air. First reasonable guess gets BA! Thanks

I’m in North Carolina and we are going to rent a place that has one, this is our first experience with one. I don’t know if there is already gas in it or if we will have to refill it before winter. How much does it usually cost to get one refilled? Is it a few hundred or are we looking at a few thousand dollars?

I have to share electricity with my neighbor because of the way the house has been split into apartments- she is complaining that I charge my golf cart and it runs her bill up- I plug it into the outlet about an hour a day before I use it- how do I figure out how much it actually costs average from the electric company?

I recently contacted someone who is interested in re-homing their 10 month old green mini macaw. They claim the bird is in good health, they are just moving out of town and can’t take the bird. They are asking 0. That seems kind of high for a "re-homing" fee.
Any input?
Thanks!

I’m interested in automobile design and alternatives to oil. I just want feedback on some of the alternatives to oil.

I know what alternative energy is and I have some idea of what incentives mean but I think when you but them together there is a different meaning.
